1. Scope
Orange Work is a productivity platform that brings calendar, notes, tasks, and pomodoro modules into one experience. This policy covers the core visitor flow on the marketing website and the application experience where identity can be verified through Orange ID.
2. Data We Collect
Orange Work may process the following categories of data:
- Account data: user identity, display name, and email-like profile fields validated through Orange ID.
- Content data: notes, tasks, calendar records, daily notes, and pomodoro session preferences.
- Device and preference data: in-app display settings, sync choices, and local storage records.
- Connection data: if Google Calendar is enabled, Orange Work may access event titles, notes, locations, start and end times, all-day flags, and Google event identifiers on calendars owned by the signed-in user. If iCloud Calendar is enabled, the equivalent Apple calendar data needed for the feature may be processed.
3. How Data Is Used
Collected data may be used for the following purposes:
- To maintain user sessions and run Orange Work modules under the same account.
- To map note, task, calendar, and pomodoro data across devices on a per-user basis.
- To read existing Google Calendar events on calendars owned by the signed-in user, display them inside Orange Work, and create new calendar events when the user chooses.
- To remember app settings and user preferences.
Orange Work data is not used for ad sales or third-party marketing profile creation.
4. Third-Party Integrations
Orange Work may work with third-party infrastructure for certain features:
- Orange ID: used for account verification and a unified account experience.
- Firebase: may be used for user-scoped storage and identity flows.
- Google Calendar: Orange Work requests Google Calendar access only when the user connects Google Calendar, and uses that access to read and create events on calendars owned by the signed-in user.
- iCloud Calendar: the device-based Apple calendar connection is activated only when allowed.
These connections are not enabled by default; they operate based on user choice and feature need. Orange Work does not sell Google user data and does not disclose Google Calendar data to advertising platforms or data brokers.
5. Storage and Security
Orange Work may store data in scoped areas associated with user identity. Local cache can be kept on device for a faster experience, and if cloud sync is enabled, relevant records may be written to a user-specific area.
- Local data may be stored on device together with application preferences.
- Cloud data is stored in user-scoped areas separated by product.
- Calendar permissions are controlled through platform-level system permission layers.
No system can guarantee absolute security; still, Orange Work uses HTTPS/TLS for requests sent to Google APIs and cloud services, limits access to the signed-in user context, and keeps integrations permission-based and revocable.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
- Ask what data is stored
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of account-related content
- Withdraw optional integration permissions
You may disconnect Google Calendar permissions from your Google account at any time and submit data-related requests through Orange Work support or account channels.
7. Age Limit
Orange Work is designed for general productivity use and is not positioned as a service directed to children. Where required by law, parental or legal guardian consent may be necessary.
8. Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time because of product changes, new integrations, or legal requirements. The latest version is published on this page and the revision date appears at the top.
